Here’s what we have planned
7 August: Cooking ‘en papillote’ (or ‘al cartoccio’ in Italian) is a simple yet impressive way to prepare fish. Wrapping in parchment paper, with all the flavour and aroma sealed in for diners to open and enjoy at the table, ensures succulent results every time. Master this traditional cooking style and serve it with pommes Dauphinoise made with more of those awesome heirloom potatoes from The Gourmet Potato (this is the best potato bake ever!). This is a fabulous do-ahead menu for entertaining.
- 14 August: Master a Chinese classic, clams with black bean sauce and chilli – simple and simply delicious!
21 August: With Momofuku Seiobo reopening this week , we’re very excited to be featuring a dish from the charismatic Paul Carmichael. Exact details are yet to be confirmed … we know it’ll be Caribbean-influenced, Aussie produce, fun and delicious!
- 28 August: Who doesn’t love a good laksa? Ours is a great recipe to have in your repertoire and easily adaptable to whatever seafood or meat you want to add … the one we’re doing this week is extra lux with the addition of Moreton Bay bugs!
