22/23 January: Cantonese pipis in XO sauce is back by popular demand and well worth adding to your recipe repertoire or revisiting. Our version is extra special with XO sauce made by Chef Mitch Orr and, to mix things up a little, this time we’ve added crispy fried noodles underneath to soak up all that delicious sauce and add crunch! Plus there’s a side of oh-so-moreish blistered beans that’s bound to become a firm favourite!
29/30 January: Simple marinades, salsas, dips and salads take barbecued seafood to an impressive new level. This week’s relaxed weekend barbie features two of 2020’s most popular dishes: Spiced Swordfish with Hummus & Preserved Lemon Salsa and a side salad of Grilled Zucchini, Tomatoes and Red Onion … both of which will become firm family favourites we’re sure!
5/6 February: Gazpacho, Spain’s chilled tomato and bread soup, is deliciously refreshing, especially when it’s fancied up with fresh Australian spanner crabmeat. Once you see how easy this classic dish is (with or without the crabmeat) it’ll become your go-to in shot glasses for cocktail parties, as a smart entrée or, as we’ve done here, with a side of irresistible garlic bread and crisp green salad for lazy summer meals.
12/13 February: Lobster is a luxurious ingredient, best served simply so its fresh flavour shines. This week’s rock lobster salad, from the Italian island of Sardinia, shows how a few fresh ingredients creatively combined can create a delicious and impressive meal! Using a cooked rock lobster, this is one of the simplest dishes yet one of the tastiest, perfect for a special dinner for two (dare we say for Valentine's Day?!)!
